Today's batch drink is a fan favorite: the Cocktail World Cup's Honey and Ginger Whiskey Highball. This is the perfect cocktail for any fall or winter celebrations especially for birthday celebrations.
Batch drinks are key for preparing any party. There have been a number of wonderful and boozy batch drinks that have been featured throughout this blog. The fan favorites are The Bootleg, Tutti Frutti Frosé, and any of the 5 frozen watermelon cocktails. Even though those are summer batch drinks, there are many wonderful and flavorful fall and winter cocktails that feature whisky.
Ingredients:
1.5 cups of Bulleit Bourbon
1 cup Barenjager Honey Liqueur
1 cup of Ginger Simple Syrup
1 cup Lemon Juice (3-4 lemons, freshly squeezed)
Method:
Prepare the Ginger and Lemon Simple Syrup: Peel and cut the ginger into tiny pieces, boil in a pot and add sugar for 10 minutes.
Once the simple syrup has cooled, combine all of the ingredients in a large container and stir vigorously
Place in the fridge or freezer for a couple of hours and serve at your party.
