Today, we are celebrating 100 episodes of Backyard Bachelor on YouTube! In commemoration of this milestone, I decided that it would be fun to go down memory lane and look back at some of my highlights over the first 100 episodes on Backyard Bachelor.
One of my favorite series is The Cocktail World Cup and is the catalyst for making YouTube videos especially learning how to record and photograph better. I am going to bring some of those fall cocktails back with some new twists because they are amazing.
My favorite cocktail is still the Gin and Tonic. Collaborating with Filibuster during the CWC was a huge highlight and a fun riff on the Tom Collins while having some G&Ts behind the screen. There are so many memories.
This whole process has led to some new and fun series. "On The Menu" on Instagram will continue as always. I will try to remember to share my recipes on here as well. Also "+1 Ingredient Cocktails" is coming back. I think it is a fun way to showcase how riffs can improve certain classic cocktails from a change or addition by one ingredient. The Tom Collins' and rhubarb episodes were my favorites from this summer.
Lastly, the cocktail competitions were heating up and i entered my second one a couple of weeks ago. I will have the recipe up soon. Overall, working with coffee and coming up with the Andalusian and Summer's Espress Yourself made some waves.
Again, I can't believe we finally hit this milestone and grateful to all of you who have read, watched, and collaborated with me over the last couple of years. This whole experience means everything to me. I have been able to learn and grow inside and outside of Backyard Bachelor through this venture!
