Mardi Gras is next week and to get the party started, we are doing Hurricanes. Hurricanes are the classic cocktails of New Orleans. Not only is this extremely boozy cocktails delicious but will keep the party going for hours to come. In my opinion, this is the ultimate rum drink that everyone should know how to make! Ingredients:
2 oz. Dark Rum
2 oz. Light Rum
1 oz. Coconut Rum
2-3 oz. Orange Juice
2 oz. Passion Fruit Juice
.5 oz. Lime Juice
.25 oz. Grenadine
Method:
- Combine all the juice and rum in a chilled cocktail shaker
- Shake very thoroughly until all combined
- Pour in a tall chilled glass
- Garnish with candied ginger, dried apricots, and cherry
- Serve immediately!
