I am bringing it back. If you have been following my instagram: backyard_bachelor, then you know I have been crazy about Empress 1908 Gin. It has been some of the best gin that I have had in years. Its beautiful blue hue changes into an incredible royal purple when lemon or lime juice is applied. Like any drink, I am messing with different drink combinations and this drink is still incredible with this incredible gin.
Ingredients:
- 2 ounces of Empress 1908 Gin
- 1 ounce of prickly pear liqueur
- .5- .75 ounce of ginger simple syrup
- .5- .75 ounce of cranberry concentrate
- .5 ounce of lemon juice
- 2-3 ounces of club soda
Method:
- Combine gin, prickly pear liqueur, ginger simple syrup (see my simple syrup recipe here), cranberry concentrate, and lemon juice in one ice shaker.
- Shake to combine and in a cold glass and top with a bit of club soda and add blackberries for garnish. They will be an incredible addition for later.
