In a world where coffee and cocktails reign supreme, the Espresso Martini stands out as a delightful concoction that combines the best of both worlds. Many bartenders and baristas keep experimenting the bitter coffee notes with various spirits.
I may not be a coffee drinker but I can't help making this delightfully bitter cocktail in my spare time. This is the second time that I am revisiting and utilizing coffee with spirits from around the world. I am entering my second cocktail competition this summer and couldn't be more excited!

Like inventing the Andalusian, Galliano's Cocktail competition is all about improving or creating a fun rift on the Espresso Martini. Before I start showcasing my new espresso cocktail, let's take a brief moment to enjoy and revisit how to make this amazing cocktail!
Ingredients:
2 oz Ketel One Vodka
1 oz freshly brewed Espresso
.5 oz Galliano Espresso Liqueur
.5 oz Simple Syrup
Optional: .5 oz Chocolate Liqueur or Kahlua
Garnish with Coffee Beans
Method:
- Brew a shot of espresso and place a coupe glass in the freezer to chill
- Combine all of your ingredients in a cocktail shaker
- Shake vigorously for 30 seconds
- Strain into a chilled coupe glass
- Garnish with 3-7 coffee beans (depending on size of the beans)
- Serve immediately!
The Espresso Martini has earned its place as a beloved classic, celebrated for its ability to combine the essence of coffee with the allure of a well-crafted cocktail. Whether you're a coffee lover, a cocktail enthusiast, or someone simply in search of a unique drink, this delightful blend is sure to captivate your taste buds.
I am looking forward to share my style and rift! I have a couple of ideas for how to make a classic rift and looking forward to sharing it in the coming weeks! In the meantime, go enjoy one and stay tuned!
