So this is my favorite drink of the summer hands down. It is refreshing, sweet, and packs a punch. It goes into the themes that summer cocktails should help you last through the warmest days and keeping you "hydrated." In addition, "The Red Riot" was named and inspired by one of my favorite characters Eijiro Kirishima, aka the Red Riot from My Hero Academia.
There are two things I have been working on: boozey popsicles and new summer drinks. I have been making some new drinks but I think this is the preeminent drink. After visiting Don Cicio e Figli in Ivy City, DC, I thought of a new drink on the Uber ride home.
Ingredients:
- 2 oz Vitae Gin
- .5 oz Pratt Standard blackberry sauce
- .5 oz lime juice
- .5 oz Pomegranate juice
- .5 oz Don Cicio e Figli Ambrosia
- Topped with club soda (optional)
- Garnish with blackberries
Popsicle
- 1 round of this drink should feel all four popsicle holders.
- The key is to have 3/4:1 water to alcohol.
