The penultimate post is by far the most delicious drink out of the whole group. I can\'t believe the overwhelming response to this drink on my birthday and I ended up making a couple more of these quickly throughout the night.
This series has been a lot of fun to make and come up with. As we are approaching the end of the summer aka my birthday, I wanted to do something different that I have never really made or seen that often. That is frosé. Again, all these drinks are super easy, fun, and delicious drinks as we enjoy the end of the summer. I do recommend making this at least a day or about 6-8 hours in advance because it makes a huge difference. If you don\'t have that time, no worries. It will take a couple minutes but easy to do.
Ingredients
- 1 bottle of Rosé
- Watermelon juice and fruit
- Raspberry (1/2 cup)
- Plum Simple Syrup (8 ounces)
- Lime Juice (~4 ounces)
- 2 plums (diced)
Preparing in advance:
- In a large container, pour the rosé in without a care in the world. It is going to be about 60/40 to 50/50 juice to rosé. Anything 70 or above will freeze it solid like making a booze popsicle.
- Like the other posts, preparing the watermelon in advance is easy. Cut the bottom or the top to create a flat base. Then, scoop the fruit out and place in a separate container.
- In a large blender, combine a couple of cups of watermelons, add about half of the raspberries, lime juice and blend until combined.
- Pour it into the jar or container and add the plum simple syrup as well.
- On a cutting board, slice the plums into small-bite size pieces and add those with the remaining raspberries and watermelon in a jar. Mix to combine and test to see if it requires any more watermelon or berries.
- Place in the freezer for 6-8 hours in advance
- When ready to serve: scoop out the frosé with the spoon.
- I like to add a little club soda or in my buddy\'s case: a white claw.
