So if you haven't checked out the premiere of Backyard Bachelor on YouTube then go check out the video! It's Ted Lasso's Lemon Lavender mojito and weekly content is going to become part of this blog!

We are going with a winter classic, mulled cider or the transformative whiskey cider. It's getting cold and there is nothing better than an open bonfire with a mug of mulled cider. This is a great and simple recipe for beginners and you should have most if not all of the ingredients in your cupboard.
Ingredients:
- 2 Quarts of Apple Juice
- 2 Cups of Cranberry Juice
- 3 cinnamon sticks
- 1 cup of hibiscus liqueur
- 1.5 cups of Cranberries
- Orange Peel and Juice
- 2 tablespoons of cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon of cloves, nutmeg, ginger, and allspice
- 2 teaspoons of lavender
- 3-4 baked apples (diced)
Method- Baked Apples
- Preheat the oven to 350.
On a cutting board, dice 3-4 apples into small cubes and place them in a bowl - Add cinnamon, nutmeg, sumac, and a little pepper
- Mix and combine by hand until each piece looks like they are lightly dusted.
- Place on a tray and bake in the oven for 30 minutes (Your kitchen or, in my case, apartment will smell wonderful)
Mulled Cider - Bringing it Together
- Place all of the above spices combined into a stovetop and lightly roast for 1-2 minutes
- On low heat, add about 2 quarts of apple juice and a cup of cranberry juice. Let it slowly heat up and add additional cinnamon
- Lastly, add the cranberries.
- Stir and let it gently boil for an hour.
- Place the mulled cider and add the baked apples. Stir and taste unless to add extra spices.
- Optionally: Add whiskey and you have an awesome whiskey-cider for the rest of the evening.
Another simple easy-batch drink for your upcoming holiday parties. Hope you enjoy this one. Once again, go check out the video and say hi. See you next time! Yammas!
