It's the most wonderful time of the year (Ding dong ding dong). As we are approaching the holiday season, I have been working on some new experiments for a drink that could live up to it. Whiskey C+C stands for a whiskey Cinnamon and Chocolate Twist. What makes it a twist is that there is technically neither in the drink. I'll explain.

Ingredients:
- 2 oz Rye Whiskey or Bourbon
- .5-.75 oz Kahlua
- Pinch of vanilla
- 3-4 oz of milk
- Even parts cinnamon and cocoa powder on a plate for rim
Method:
- Rim the glass: So I like a lemon or lime wedge to rim a glass. Gently use a wedge to the rim the glass.
- On a small plate, place equal parts cocoa powder and cinnamon.
- At an angle, slowly circle the glass at about a 45 degree angle until the glass is covered. You can use a napkin to clean the excess off.
- In a cold shaker, combine all of the above-listed ingredients except for the cocoa powder and cinnamon in a cold cocktail shaker.
- Shake thoroughly and pour in the rimmed glass
Once again, I hope everyone enjoys this time of year. Holiday cocktails are fun to drink and more to experiment with. I mean who wants to drink eggnog in the summer? For some reason, my go-to is warm whiskey sour or toddy but this one worked nicely and was definitely more fun than a hot cocktail that I am still dialing in. Anyways, episode 2 will be on YouTube this Monday. Stay tuned! Yammas!
