Welcome to the Cocktail World Cup, the greatest alcohol competition happening alongside the greatest football tournament in the world! At Backyard Bachelor, part of this blog and activity is a love for great cocktails, spirits, and beverages. I can’t think of a better way than showing off some of the coolest cocktails.
For this tournament, I am placing some of the world’s greatest beverages, cocktails, and spirits head-to-head with each match up. Based on the group stages and throughout the tournament, every country will be able to field 3 different cocktails (both alcoholic and nonalcoholic).
The rules are simple. I am drawing different cocktails from across the world and showcasing different drinks. Not everyone is going to have a lot of drinks but we are going to have an insane lineup of cocktails. Some will take influence from classic cocktails, well-known cocktails, and some wonderful concoctions along the way! You will have to stay tuned for each match. I will post everything on YouTube as well as post recipes.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
WHAT: 48 matches, over 90 cocktails from around the world will be featured during the group stages! Some will be original cocktails; others will be classics or well-known spirits.
WHEN: NOVEMBER 20, 2022! Each match will be published on YouTube an hour before the game begins. The first match starts before Qatar vs. Ecuador match.
WHERE: Every matchup will be posted on YouTube. You can check out the page to see current and future matchups as well as other videos from the match up. I’ll have updates across all social media platforms.
